OUR MISSION - make friends, build bridges, and use our resources to generate opportunities for others.

Too many of us take for granted having roofs over our heads, food on our tables, and access to modern health and educational systems. More crucially, we also often enjoy the absence of conflict and war, and are less critically impacted by climate change and natural disasters. Let us capitalize on these advantages and help those impacted by these global inequalities build their own futures.

Currently active in Uganda, Ghana and Haiti, Our World Project is partnering with already functional educational initiatives run by committed local leaders at the centre of their wider communities, helping them develop the economic tools needed to achieve financial autonomy. We utilize our team's collective background and network in the hospitality industry to conceive and build locally specific tourism projects, empowering them to smartly tap into existing regional possibilities. We hope to ‘turbo charge’ their existing efforts and goals with our expertise and financial support, working together to upgrade both their communities infrastructure and schools. Ultimately the local partner shall be able to provide sustainable educational and economic opportunities to students and their entire families long after our direct involvement comes to an end.

Today we are seeking your financial contributions. Additionally we welcome energized new partners eager to take a direct role in further conceptualizing our projects. Whether we develop workshop and educational spaces together or include you or your team in an exploratory trip, we are eager for your direct or indirect involvement, thoughts, and feedback.

Help us in breaking down barriers, creating understanding, solidarity, and empathy. Let’s take a different approach to tackling extreme poverty and the challenges that many rural, marginalized communities face. Let us make honest contributions to improving the lives of those in need by helping them build their own future.

OWP seeks to partner with new or established local development initiatives, providing them and the individuals behind them with our financial backing, network of support, and managerial expertise. While helping them realize their existing goals, we build onsite learning and cultural spaces that further our partnership and create additional value for the project as a whole.

Upon completion, a project would be sustainable, with an emphasis on being centers of continuing education and economic opportunity, allowing participants to support themselves and their communities long after our active involvement comes to a close. Ideally, drawing from our teams professional backgrounds in tourism and hospitality, each location would additionally be able to host visitors, increasing the cross-cultural and economic possibilities available.

We aim to be the engine for funding, as well as the facilitator and professional guidance behind worthy development projects that have sincere ambitions of improving the lives of those involved.

WHILE EACH PROJECT SITE IS UNIQUE, OUR GENERAL PLAN IS ALWAYs the same

1

InITiation

OWP connects with a vetted local partner that is eager to see investment in their community. In Uganda, for example, we began working with an established primary school director who was looking to expand his small initiatives footprint, bringing more opportunity to the students and their families.

2

Planning

Considering the local existing circumstances, we create a detailed plan with our local partner to realize immediate aid goals for improving their local school and community spaces, while laying the foundations (both literally and otherwise) for the tourism and vocational related spaces we seek to build.

3

implementation

Over the course of several years, OWP guides funding towards the local project from our donors, while also providing the detail oriented managerial oversight and tourism geared experience needed for success. The educational, tourism and cultural spaces we imagined with our partner come into being and are managed jointly as they come online.

4

completion

A completed, sustainable, and fully operational tourism focused project is both connected to our network and the wider community, as well as ready to be handed over fully to those we’ve been working with.

InITiation

OWP connects with a compelling project that is in varying stages of development. In Uganda, for example, we began working with an established primary schooling looking to expand, in Ghana we started off with only a commitment of land and a local connection eager to develop an educational center

Our World Project rejects the concept of simply sending aid and donations from afar - we’re eager to build bridges, invest transparently and efficiently in communities, and create partnerships and cultural understanding with friends around the world.

Our values as a team and organization are unambiguous
.
